Elizabeth Michael, Director and Principal Lawyer
Elizabeth is the Principal of our firm. Prior to starting the firm in 1993, Elizabeth practiced with major commercial law firms in Melbourne and also the United States.
With over 25 years of legal experience, Elizabeth offers a wealth of knowledge across a broad range of areas, including business law, property and wills and estates.
Elizabeth is a Law Institute of Victoria (LIV) Accredited Specialist in Property Law and Wills & Estates, one of only 5 solicitors in Victoria to be an accredited specialist in both areas.
Elizabeth works in all aspects of property law including sales and purchases, subdivisions, property development advice and commercial leasing. Elizabeth can also provide specialist legal advice and assistance in complex estate planning business succession planning, estate disputes and litigation. She provides prompt and personal communication.
Elizabeth likes to personally meet with clients to understand their aims and desired outcomes. She takes a commercial approach in advising her clients to ensure that they achieve the best possible results.
Elizabeth is also a current member of the Law Institute of Victoria – Property & Commercial Tenancy Law Advisory Committee.
Rebecca Pugh, Associate
Rebecca re-joined our firm in 2021 having previously worked at the firm as a Junior Lawyer between 2014 – 2017.
Rebecca has a broad range of experience in Property Law having worked previously in a regional law firm and boutique and large firms in Melbourne. Rebecca’s focus in recent years has been primarily retail and commercial leases as well as commercial acquisitions and dispositions and developments whilst working in a large CBD law firm.
Rebecca works in all aspects of property law including leasing, sales and purchases, subdivisions, property development advice and alpine acquisitions and dispositions.
Rebecca is an active member of the Law Institute of Victoria and is on both the Property Law and Leases Committee.
Rebecca has a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from Monash University and was admitted to practice in February 2014.
Prior to moving to Australia with her family in 2008, Rebecca lived and studied in the UK.
Jordyn Nichols, Lawyer
Jordyn joined the team in October 2021.
Jordyn has a Bachelor of Laws/Bachelor of Business and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice and was admitted to practice in July 2021.
Jordyn has previously worked as a Lawyer in a boutique law firm in Pakenham, where she developed an interest in Wills & Estate matters.
In her spare time, Jordyn enjoys F45 fitness training and playing netball. She enjoys spending time with her family and socialising with friends.
Henry Wei, Law Clerk
Henry joined Bayside Wills & Estates in 2012 and actively assists clients across a broad range of areas within the firm.
His current role primarily involves drafting legal documents, performing comprehensive legal research, reading case law and preparing case briefs and filing documents with the court.
Henry completed a Bachelor of Laws/Bachelor of Music double degree at Monash University in 2017 having completed his secondary studies at Melbourne Grammar School (on full scholarship). Henry completed a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice (from the College of Law Melbourne) in 2018.
Henry has performed as a solo pianist internationally in both Japan and USA, as well as in Australia, and was awarded a Licentiate Diploma in Music (Australia) with Distinction in 2010. He is fluent in Mandarin Chinese.
Henry is a passionate Essendon supporter.
Jacinta Schepisi, Legal Assistant
Jacinta joined tht team as a legal assistant in December 2020. Her role primarily involves administrative duties, filing documents with the court and assisting the other lawyers with their matters as required.
She is currently undertaking a Bachelor of Laws/ Bachelor of Arts double degree (majoring in Psychology and minoring in International Relations) at Monash University.
In her spare time, Jacinta enjoys reading, hiking and listening to True Crime or Investment podcasts.
